Arrival & departure
Check-out by 9.30 a.m.
You will receive a link for pre-check-in a few days before getting here. We kindly ask you to complete this process, so you can save a lot of time on the day you get here. This also gives you the option of buying your ski pass from the comfort of your own home.
If you would like to use the days you arrive and depart as ski days, we ask you to use the public car park at the Silvrettabahn mountain cable car station (for a daily fee of €5.00).
If you are delayed in getting here and you will not arrive until after 6pm , please call us on +43 664 537 89 81 to let us know.

Room prices
The prices quoted are per person per day, excluding tourist tax (€4.00 per person per day for guests aged 16 and over).
Apartment prices
The prices quoted are per apartment, excluding meals and tourist tax (€4.00 per person per day for guests aged 16 and over).
Non-smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of our rooms. However, most of them have a balcony on which you can smoke. The balconies are equipped with ashtrays. There is also an ashtray next to the entrance to the ski storage room.
Lounge
We are happy to make our breakfast room available for you to enjoy a snack together or to spend a pleasant evening enjoy each other’s company. It can be used from 6pm to 10pm. We only ask that you give us a little notice in advance. Of course, you are also welcome to use our small seating area in our entrance area for having a drink together and toasting the end of an enjoyable day.
Pets
We thank you for your understanding that pets are not permitted at the Schmid hotel out of consideration for the other guests.
Payment
An advance payment of 30% of the total amount is due when you make your booking.

If it is not possible to make a bank transfer in advance for short-notice bookings, you can also pay onsite with an instant bank transfer.
You can pay the balance or the hotel bill in cash or by debit card when you check out the day before you leave (if possible, not by credit card).
Cancellation policy
- You can cancel free of charge up to 4 weeks before getting here. Your advance payment will be refunded.
- For cancellations between 4 and 2 weeks before getting here, we charge 50% of the total price.
- Within the last 2 weeks before getting here, the full booking amount (less the tourist tax) will be charged.
- If you need to make a cancellation, please contact us directly.
